摘要: Abstract During a 2-year period from January 1998 to December 1999, intestinal content 1541 cattle, 665 sheep and 1976 pigs were analysed for Escherichia coli O157:H7 using the immunomagnetic separation procedure. The animals originated 848, 605 832 herds southwest part of Norway, respectively. E. was present in three samples cattle different herds, giving herd prevalence 0.35% an animal 0.19%. From pigs, isolated two 0.24% 0.1%. A follow-up study revealed another positive testing pig one these herds. not found any investigated sheep. By PCR analysis, all six isolates shown contain genes encoding Shiga toxin 2 ( stx ), intimin protein eae ) H7 flagellum fliC-H7 ). One also harboured 1 gene. differentiated into pulse-field gel electrophoresis profiles. results indicate that occurrence Norway is low compared other European countries.
