摘要: Ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) is characterized as a neuropoietic cytokine for broad spectrum of neurons, leading to its evaluation in humans suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. Due wide range biological applications, high yield production soluble biologically active recombinant human CNTF (rhCNTF) heterologous expression system demanded. Many attempts had been undertaken product rhCNTF Escherichia coli (E. coli), however, the level was low and most which formed insoluble inclusion bodies. In this study, we described new efficient method express rhCNTF. The gene codon optimized then expressed by single protein (SPP) E. coli. results showed that protein, upon purification, final about 250 mg/L shake flask with specific neuroprotective activity Aβ-induced SH-SY5Y cell injury model. Our study might open up strategy large-scale functional clinical applications well basic research.
