Negative regulation of DSS-induced experimental colitis by PILRα

摘要: Inflammatory bowel disease is thought to be a complex multifactorial disease, in which an increased inflammatory response plays important role. Paired immunoglobulin-like type 2 receptor α (PILRα), well conserved almost all mammals, inhibitory containing immunoreceptor tyrosine-based motifs the cytoplasmic domain. PILRα mainly expressed on myeloid cells and role regulation of inflammation. In present study, we investigated function using PILRα-deficient mice. When mice were orally administered dextran sulfate sodium (DSS), colonic mucosal injury inflammation significantly exacerbated DSS-treated compared with wild-type (WT) Flow cytometric analysis revealed that neutrophil macrophage cell numbers higher colons than those WT Blockade CXCR2 neutrophils inhibitor decreased severity colitis observed These results suggest negatively regulates by regulating infiltration such as macrophages.
