摘要: The systemic inflammatory response and progression to secondary organ dysfunction are manifestations of the host's responses injury. This article outlines clinical this injury-response cascade. potential roles cytokines, eicosanoids, platelet-activating factor, nitric oxide, oxygen-free radicals, leukocyte-endothelial interaction explored in some detail. A goal-directed therapy source control, resuscitation, metabolic support is reviewed, new therapies with monoclonal antibodies immunomodulated nutrition described. These hold great for finally improving outcome fatal syndrome.
