摘要: Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is susceptible to mycotoxin contamination, which can result in significant health risks and economic losses. This research examined the ability of air atmospheric cold plasma (air-ACP) treatment reduce pure spiked T-2 HT-2 mycotoxins' concentration on wheat grains. study also evaluated effect ACP using different gases grain germination parameters. The solutions applied round cover-glass were placed microscopy slides grains (0.5 g) individually with their surfaces. Samples then dried at room temperature (∼24 °C) treated by air-ACP for 1 10 min. Ten minutes significantly reduced concentrations 63.63% 51.5%, respectively. For grains, 10 min decreased up 79.8% 70.4%, No change measured quality color parameters was observed ACP-treated samples. not different, when gases. Air-ACP 80% nitrogen + 20% oxygen improved 10% 6%, demonstrated that an innovative technology potential improve safety reducing T-2/HT-2 mycotoxins additional advantage improving germination. PRACTICAL APPLICATION: Atmospheric (ACP) has a huge degrade food efficacy two major (T-2 toxins) results this will help develop scale-up degradation
