摘要: AFLP technique was used to assess genetic diversity in 72 soybean varieties under cultivation India. Selected 12 primer pairs produced 1319 products of which 1257 were polymorphic (95%). Wide variations observed for the number amplification products, percent polymorphism and average information content (PIC). The Jaccard's similarity indices (J) based on profiles subjected UPGMA cluster analysis. dendrogram generated revealed four major clusters, strongly supported by high bootstrap values obtained from analyses 1000 samples. In addition, Mantel's test cophenetic correlation with r = 0.955 indicated very good fit a group Some correspondence between clustering pattern pedigree, place release or target area variety observed. Overall moderately appears be due higher prevalent included three diverse clusters indicative need include more germplasm improvement programs.
