摘要: Introduction: Malignant brain tumors tend to migration and invasion of surrounding tissue. Histopathological studies reported malignant cells in macroscopically unsuspicious parenchyma (normal appearing white matter – NAWM) remote from the tumor localization. In early stages, diffuse interneural infiltration with changes apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) fractional anisotropy (FA) is hypothesized. Material methods: Patients’ ADC FA values NAWM hemisphere contralateral a malignant glioma were compared age- sex-matched normal controls. Results: Apparent levels entire revealed a significant increase a decrease levels. An even more pronounced was found a region mirroring location. Conclusions: patients previously untreated anaplastic astrocytoma or glioblastoma, an a reduction absence visible MRI abnormalities, this may be indicator microstructural attributed tumor.
