摘要: The antibody response of BALB/c mice directed against the idiotype myeloma protein MOPC 315 (M315) is T cell-dependent. specificity helper cells for M31 5 was investigated. Helper were primed with 5, M315 affinity-labeled Nα-bromoacetyl-Ne-2,4-dinitrophenyl-L-lysine, L-chain and H-chain Fv fragment, 460 monoclonal human kappa lambda chains. transferred together (4-hydroxy-5-iodo-3-nitrophenyl(acetyl)) (NIP)-primed B to 500 R-irradiated recipient syngeneic which challenged NIPsM315. anti-NIP responses augmented by helpers all derivatives subunits M315. This effect disappeared almost completely when treated anti-Thy-1,2 C prior transfer. Priming M460 induced weak inconsistent effects, opens possibility that some may recognize nonidiotypic determinants on strong consistent free (L-31 5)-primed not due dissociation NIP-L-315 from intact NIP5 used challenge, because L-315-primed also only expressed associated (H+L) chain pairs. In contrast, antibodies elicited L-315 specific a determinant present L-chains but or minimally accessible complete data indicate are separate ligand binding site both 7 S subunit its isolated stimulated hidden Moreover, (VL+VH) domains lacks immunogenic cells.
