At urging multiple stakeholders and providers, these lessons were applied to civilian setting emergency medical services created across nation. Advances have taken place triage, transport, management severely injured patients. Many issues remain environment. Collaboration between regionalization care, protocol-driven may be solutions some issues. Further research is necessary dictate standard this early phase after injury.
