摘要: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is one of the most important epidemic diseases in world this century, and accounts for 90% cases globally. Brazil examples alarming picture T2DM emergent societies, being country with fourth largest number people diabetes. The aim paper to review literature on Brazil, specifically looking at epidemiology management T2DM. A search was conducted using PubMed LILACS identify articles containing information Brazil. Official documents from Brazilian government, World Health Organization, International Diabetes Federation were also reviewed.
