摘要: Clients with substance use disorders access care in all areas of the health system, yet Canadian nursing literature lacks content on knowledge, skills, and judgment needed by nurses who work this population. To address gap, two Advanced Practice Nurses adapted Centre Substance Abuse's Technical Competencies for Canada's Abuse Workforce to include theory. This article describes adaptation process validation method used at a large, urban teaching hospital includes discussion about actual potential opportunities practical application framework.
