摘要: Summary The immune adherence haemagglutination test (IAHA) was demonstrated to be more sensitive than electro-osmodiffusion (EOD) for the detection of Australia antigen (Au) in Singapore blood donors. IAHA titres less 1024 are rarely detected by EOD. Au frequency each four ethnic groups showed a significant difference between high Au found Chinese (8.2%) comparison Malays (4.7%), Indians (2.9%) and others (1.3%). The differential susceptibility carriage is discussed.
