摘要: This review discusses the antidiabetic activities of Scoparia dulcis as well its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in relation to diabetes complications. Ethnomedical applications herb have been identified treatment for jaundice, stomach problems, skin disease, fever, kidney stones, reproductory issues, piles. Evidence has demonstrated through scientific studies effects crude extracts S. bioactive constituents. The primary mechanisms action activity plant constituents are α-glucosidase inhibition, curbing PPAR-γ increased secretion insulin. Scoparic acid A, scoparic D, scutellarein, apigenin, luteolin, coixol, glutinol some compounds which responsible these action. also shown exhibit analgesic, antimalarial, hepatoprotective, sedative, hypnotic, antiulcer, antisickling, antimicrobial activities. Given this evidence, it may be concluded that could promoted among masses an alternative complementary therapy diabetes, provided further on toxicological pharmacological aspects carried out either vivo or clinical means.
