摘要: Bariatric surgery provides long-term weight loss and improvement of obesity-associated diseases such as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Histologic NASH has been reported in some studies after bariatric surgery. This study was designed to assess the liver function obese patients well its recovery with a noninvasive test method. In prospective cohort from October 2011 May 2014, morbidly individuals receiving were investigated for functional (n = 34). Liver determined by LiMAx (enzymatic capacity cytochrome P450 1A2) preoperatively, 6 12 months postoperatively. biopsy specimens obtained 18 participants classified according fatty disease (NAFLD) activity score (NAS). The mean age 44 years, body mass index (BMI) 52 kg/m2. percent excess BMI (%EBMIL) 53 % 6 months 68 % 1 year. Mean increased significantly 255 μg/kg/h preoperative 324 μg/kg/h 342 μg/kg/h 12 months. A negative correlation observed between %EBMIL alteration first 6 months. Finally, median NAS showed capacity. leads significant liver. An initial marked may negatively influence recovery.
