Phylogenomic analyses of a clade within the roseobacter group suggest taxonomic reassignments of species of the genera Aestuariivita, Citreicella, Loktanella, Nautella, Pelagibaca, Ruegeria, Thalassobius, Thiobacimonas and Tropicibacter, and the proposal of six novel genera.

摘要: Roseobacters are a diverse and globally abundant group of Alphaproteobacteria within the Rhodobacteraceae family. Recent studies cophenetic correlations suggest that 16S rRNA genes poor phylogenetic markers this group. In contrast, correlation coefficients core-gene average amino acid identity (cAAI) RpoC protein sequences high likely more predictive relationships. A maximum-likelihood tree calculated from 53 core demonstrated some current genera were either polyphyletic or paraphyletic. The boundaries bacterial redefined based upon cAAI, percentage conserved proteins, phenotypic characteristics resulted in following taxonomic proposals. Loktanella vestfoldensis, litorea, maricola, maritima, rosea, sediminilitoris, tamlensis, Roseobacter sp. CCS2 should be reclassified into novel genus Yoonia. hongkongensis, aestuariicola, cinnabarina, pyoseonensis, Loktanellasoe soekkakensis variabilis Limimaricola. koreensis sediminum Cognatiyoonia. marina Flavimaricola. Aestuariivita atlantica Pseudaestuariivita. Thalassobius maritima Cognatishimia. Similarly, Ruegeria mobilis, scottomollicae, TM1040 Tropicibacter multivorans Epibacterium. litoreus mediterraneus Ruegeria. abyssi aestuarii Shimia. Citreicella aestuarii, manganoxidans, marina, thiooxidans, Pelagibaca bermudensis Thiobacimonas profunda Salipiger. Nautella italica Phaeobacter. Because these proposals to reclassify type all others species Citreicella, Nautella, Thiobacimonas, not used taxonomy.
