摘要: Roseobacters are a diverse and globally abundant group of Alphaproteobacteria within the Rhodobacteraceae family. Recent studies cophenetic correlations suggest that 16S rRNA genes poor phylogenetic markers this group. In contrast, correlation coefficients core-gene average amino acid identity (cAAI) RpoC protein sequences high likely more predictive relationships. A maximum-likelihood tree calculated from 53 core demonstrated some current genera were either polyphyletic or paraphyletic. The boundaries bacterial redefined based upon cAAI, percentage conserved proteins, phenotypic characteristics resulted in following taxonomic proposals. Loktanella vestfoldensis, litorea, maricola, maritima, rosea, sediminilitoris, tamlensis, Roseobacter sp.
