摘要: The thermal degradation of polycarbonate (PC) containing methylphenyl-silicone with a branched structure (SFR-PC) was investigated by the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). decomposition activation energies were determined using Ozawa method. It found that energy and residue SFR-PC at 800 °C in air atmosphere much higher than those PC. addition enhanced stability PC promoted formation char. silicone effective retarding combustion limited oxygen index 5 wt.% 34%. Surfaces before after analyzed dispersive X-ray (EDX) infrared (IR) spectroscopy. Based on these results obtained, flame mechanism discussed.
