摘要: In order to find effective flame retardant for charrable polycarbonate (PC) and non-charrable acrylonitrilebutadiene- styrene copolymer (ABS), a series of novel organo-phosphorus compounds derived from 4-(hydroxymethyl)- 1-oxido-2,6,7-trioxa-1-phosphabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (HPO) (FR) were synthesized their retardancies investigated the mixtures containing PC or ABS. The successful synthesis high purity FRs was verified by spectroscopic analysis, 1H 31P nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). an attempt provide basis understand retardancy behaviors FRs, various other techniques such as thermal analysis micro-scale calorimetry employed. determined UL-94 vertical test methods. results show that V-0 ratings are achieved at 3-5 wt% loadings FR V-1 rating 30 This big difference is believed be resulted fact main mechanism based on condensed phase in case PC. Nevertheless, gas acting needed ABS mixtures. Both peak heat release rate obtained micro-calorimeter experiments decomposition activation energy differential scanning (DSC) greatly reduced PC/FR mixtures, indicating stable insulating barrier formed between fire substrate. On hand, polymer more desirable. findings this study clearly implies it would not easy promising phosphorus which good only but also properties hydrolytic stability like
