摘要: This study aimed to analyze the spatial correlation between soil water and root distribution in dense-dwarf jujube plantations Hilly Loess Region (HLR) of China. The coring method was used sample roots at different depths within 0–1,000 cm profile. results showed that increase average annual depth decreased with increasing stand age. maximum 12-year-old 520 cm. difference minimum trees 180 cm. Lateral started developing intersection networks 3 years after planting. Soil fluctuation not induced by vertical systems plants. With age, depth, dry layer (below 240 cm) variance top 0–200 cm increased. However, root-zone content age while slightly larger than depth. this have important significance provide vital technical support for cultivation especially under semiarid conditions were expected find application management HLR.
