摘要: The objective of this study was to compare the sealing ability gutta-percha (GP) and Resilon on Enterococcus faecalis in dentinal tubules. Bovine root dentin blocks were infected filled with GP alone, zinc oxide–eugenol sealer, resin or sealer. incubated Brain-Heart Infusion agar plates up 4 weeks, after which chips collected from canal walls. optical density culture medium containing measured analyzed statistically. Our results indicated that none filling materials able prevent regrowth E. completely. Although we noted no significant differences bacterial counts among those groups sealers, different patterns change regarding time points. Filling a resin-based sealer induced reduction over (P < .05).
