摘要: Abstract The present study has been conducted in the frame of BUMA (Prioritization Building Materials Emissions as indoor pollution sources), a European funded project, aiming at assessing exposure to emitted compounds air. Field campaigns five (5) cities (Milan, Copenhagen, Dublin, Athens and Nicosia) were carried out. These covered weekly winter summer concentration measurements two (2) public buildings private houses each city. BTEX, terpenes, carbonyls measured using passive sampling sites inside building one outside. VOC emission on selected material have also performed Laboratory Emission Cell (FLEC). results concentrations for such formaldehyde (1.2–62.6 μg m−3), acetaldehyde (0.7–41.6 μg m−3), toluene (0.9–163.5 μg m−3), xylenes (0.2–177.5 μg m−3) acetone (2.8–308.8 μg m−3) shown diversity relatively significant sources depending type, age etc. Indoor these substances are varied type. percentage approximately 40% air quality levels originated from materials.
