摘要: Indoor microenvironments can have a relevant contribution towards the total exposure to pollutants. The biomarkers of and effect were analysed in general population, evaluate impact VOCs, PAHs tobacco smoke everyday life. We designed model for toxicological studies, as proof concept future studies. We airborne personal air pollutants, urinary oxidative stress three level groups non-smoking population from Birmingham, UK, subset with high exposures smoke, schoolchildren Saudi Arabia, living pollution areas. A significant correlation was observed between low concentration cotinine VOCs. Urinary VOCs found suitable assessment although correlations weak. No certain areas showed increase biomarker. The cell system tested so it could be applied studies. The ROS generation DNA damage cells after exposure, proved validity benzene exposure.
