The aims this study were determine antibacterial activities three extract (70% methanol, 70% ethanol acetone) from leaves Juniperus phoenicea. Also effect as antioxidant different extracts. For each solvent, content total phenolics flavonoids quantified. Antioxidant extracts screened using ferric reducing power 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH•) radical scavenging. results showed that acetone is best solvent for extraction phenolics, flavonoids, scavenging exhibited higher power. extractions phoenicea was evaluated against five bacterial strains. all at concentration 20%, 30% 40% effective both Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria.
