摘要: Urdaibai was declared a Biosphere's Reserve by UNESCO in 1984. Because we observed high prevalence of hermaphroditism mussels sampled March 2004, started the present research work order to determine presence endocrine disruptors (EDs) sediments and study possible EDs effects on oysters using gonad index vitellogenin (VTG)-like protein levels as biomarkers. Samples were collected at five localities April 2007 2008, October 2007. Estrogenic hormones not detected bisphenol A organotin compounds very low. Alkylphenols found moderate showed time-dependent decrease. Phthalates up 8000 ng/g. High oocyte atresia necrosis occurred April. Retarded gametogenesis an oyster population from shipyard. Hermaphrodites or alterations VTG-like but histopathological oocytes is concern.
