摘要: article i nfo Detailed mapping along the coasts of Skyros Island (Aegean Sea) provided new evidence concerning rates and modality subsidence in area. The results are through study shape dimensions two submerged notches detected around carbonate island. Itisapparentthattheislandhasbeensubmergednotonlyduetotheglobalsea-levelriseduringthelasttwocen- turies (1.8±0.3 mm/year between 1950 2000), but also because tectonic events testified by type notches. Some these seem to be gradual some co-seismic origin. transition MSL from retreat point lower notch upper seems have been produced about 55 cm at slightly less than 850 years BP.
