摘要: This series of nine papers described the operation and pre-clinical assessment a tobacco heating product THP1.0. last paper contextualises data on THP1.0 with from other next generation products relative to cigarette smoke. The nicotine risk continuum is concept that ranks according their potential harm, cigarettes at highest extreme Nicotine Replacement Therapy least risky extreme. Data generated in studies range Next Generation Products (NGPs) may provide some initial indication ranking these products, although importantly, such are limited cannot take into consideration several important aspects for as long term use patterns. In each studies, responses emissions were substantially reduced Additionally, very similar those NGP emissions. A comparison results clearly showed all NGPs considerably lower than around same level. These show could have be compared cigarettes, though further assessing exposure, individual population reduction profile would required substantiate this potential.
