摘要: The capacity factor of a power plant is the ratio generation over its potential generation. It an important measure to describe wind and solar resources. However, fluctuating nature renewable makes it difficult integrate all at times. Whenever exceeds load, curtailment or storage energy required. With increasing shares in system, level will further increase. In this work, influence on factors for highly German system studied. Three years highly-resolved weather data were used model Together with historical load transmission model, possible future was simulated. shown that unlimited strongly reduced by up 60% (wind) 70% (photovoltaics) therefore limited value system.
