摘要: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for spatially routing an optical pulse (data pulse) of electromagnetic radiation containing a specific address temporal profile possibly additional data. Routing generally involves unit active material (AM) that is programmed using one or more input beams pulses (e.g. K2) the providing (i.e., waveform-discriminating) directional routing) information to material. During programming, spatial-spectral grating created by interference on in encoding pertinent data pulse. Whenever pulse, substantially similar address, interacts with material, produces output (KS) propagates direction, relative corresponding provided during programming.
