摘要: The transition to postsecondary education and employment is natural after high school graduation, but often more difficult less successful for students with disabilities. Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS)/Vocational (VR) works in partnership disabilities from around provide the Successful Transitional Experience Program (STEP). purpose this study was examine outcomes youth state participating VR programs. Five years data system analyzed determine what demographic case level factors were different predicted rehabilitated or nonrehabilitated outcomes. Extensive cleaning left a total 22,440 be analyzed. Results indicated there differences based on race, location, disability type, number services received, office region, expenditure. Further, positive by race whereas negative type disability, revealed that small percentage participants are being successfully (16.06%). Based findings, it recommended DRS/VR alters updates STEP program. It also need clarification intake eligibility requirements services.
