摘要: The current study investigated the effect of motivational manipulations on operant wheel running for sucrose reinforcement and as a behavioral consequence lever pressing, within same experimental context. Specifically, rats responded two-component multiple schedule in which pressing produced opportunity to run one component (reinforcer component) consume solution other (operant component). Motivational involved removal contingent providing 1h pre-session running. Results showed that, opposition response strengthening view, did not maintain operations withdrawing or running, however, resulted different wheel-running rates reinforcer components schedule; this rate discrepancy revealed extrinsic reinforcing effects but also indicated intrinsic value across components. Differences between were discussed terms arousal, undermining motivation, contrast.
