摘要: To assess correlation between preoperative and postoperative findings surgical factors, functional outcomes after successful repair of acute macula-off rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). Forty-four eyes 44 patients with recent-onset RRD who had primary pars plana vitrectomy were included in this retrospective study. Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) choroidal changes on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) evaluated before surgery. Correlation variables such as demographic clinical data, SD-OCT assessed. Eighteen women 26 men, whose mean age at the onset was 51.7 ± 14.4 years, evaluated. The logMAR BCVA 1.1 ± 0.5 (20/250) 0.14 ± 0.1 (20/30), respectively, a 16.7 ± 7.2 months. Although all factors prognostic for outcome treatment RRD, epiretinal membrane formation found only factor affecting acuity. Satisfactory recovery can be achieved surgery without any association morphological increased subretinal fluid, central foveal thickness, subfoveal cystic spaces inner nuclear layer and/or outer layer, undulation separated retina, disruption photoreceptor layer. Epiretinal may affect these patients.
