摘要: We determined the immunohistochemical distributions of orexin-A and orexin-B, hypothalamic peptides that function in regulation feeding behavior energy homeostasis. Orexin-A -B neurons were restricted to lateral posterior hypothalamus, whereas both nerve fibers projected widely into olfactory bulb, cerebral cortex, thalamus, brainstem. Dense populations orexin-containing present paraventricular thalamic nucleus, central gray, raphe nuclei, locus coeruleus. Moderate numbers these found insular, infralimbic prelimbic amygdala, ventral, dorsolateral parts suprachiasmatic nucleus except magnocellular division, arcuate supramammillary solitary tract, dorsal motor vagus. Small orexin perirhinal, sensory hippocampus, supraoptic a very small number division nucleus. Intracerebroventricular injections orexins induced c-fos expression coeruleus, vagus, division. The unique neuronal distribution their functional activation neural circuits suggest specific complex roles autonomic neuroendocrine control.
