摘要: Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) has received extensive attention as a secondary source of metals. Because WEEE also contains toxic substances such heavy metals, appropriate management these is important in the recycling treatment WEEE. As basis for discussion toward better WEEE, this study characterizes various types terms metal contents. The fate metals contained including was investigated actual waste processes. Cathode-ray tube televisions showed highest concentration largest total amount Ba, Pb, Sb, so disposal would greatly contribute to A future challenge mid-sized items audio/visual ICT because even though concentrations were not high items, them negligible. In case Japan, well small are subject municipal solid treatment. that landfill main destination those current systems. changes flows will occur when processes modified emphasize resource recovery. flow might lead an increase released environment, materials targeted recovery should be considered simultaneously.
