摘要: Two apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) orchards, a conventional and an organic one, were compared in terms of plant growth, marketable fruit quality attributes (fruit weight, shape, color, phenolic compound concentration, nutrients) yield. The two orchards located nearby, order to exclude possible pedoclimatic influences on the measured variables. management systems resulted similar new season's shoot growth attributes, total soluble solids, juice pH, titratable acidity color indexes, while conventionally grown trees produced almost twice yield organically managed ones. flesh plus peel portion fruits exhibited higher flavonoid o-diphenols presented concentration. Nitrogen concentration was all portions fruits, potassium, calcium, sodium manganese concentrations fruits. Significant differences observed between concerning nutrient ratios, but their values within desired ranges, under both systems.
