摘要: In the mouse olfactory system, anatomical locations of sensory neurons (OSNs) roughly correlate with their axonal projection sites along dorsal-ventral (D-V) axis bulb (OB). Here we report that an axon guidance receptor, Neuropilin-2 (Nrp2), and its repulsive ligand, Semaphorin-3F (Sema3F), are expressed by OSNs in a complementary manner is important for establishing map topography. Sema3F secreted early-arriving axons deposited at anterodorsal OB to repel Nrp2-positive arrive later. Sequential arrival OSN as well graded expression Nrp2 help form topographic order D-V axis.
