摘要: The role of θ activity during rat shuttle responses to a buzzer was studied using four different experimental situations: (a) D test (pseudoconditioning), 50 buzzers and 25 footshocks at random intervals in sequence; (b) DP (classical conditioning), paired (contiguous) shocks on all trials, regardless whether response the were performed or not; (c) DC (avoidance without stimulus pairing), buzzers, each followed by shock randomly variable interval unless there that trial; (d) DPC with only those trials which not buzzer. Experiments designed observe hippocampal test, rhythm necessary for elicitation response. Recordings made rats via chronically implanted dorsal electrodes some animals blocked transection medial fornix. Results showed: (1) quantity increased presentation after footshock tests, frequency significantly tests included pairing as factor (DP tests); (2) Activity occur. These results suggest hippocampus may have special processing information related is more an indicator than activator this particular kind behavior.
