摘要: In the present study, fatigue life and surface crack extension direction in a cylindrical elastic bar with an inclined were experimentally investigated. The effects of loading type, stress ratio inclination angle on growth behavior also determined. Carbon steel S45 was chosen as test material due to its wide range industrial applications. A introduced at center specimen ? respect axial direction. results showed that, even under pure tension or cyclic torsion loading, deviated from initial Under biaxial conditions, mainly determined by normal shear stress.
