摘要: Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) affects nearly 1 in 10 women. Thus, it is essential for pharmacists and other health care providers to be comfortable when discussing a patient's ensure appropriate triage so that the specific causes of HSDD can identified potential recommendations provided. defined as absence or deficiency interest and/or desire, leading significant distress interpersonal difficulties. As providers, have critical role assessing presence providing education on available treatment options. This article will review low screening tools available, professionals communicating with patients about their health. An overview importance behavioral modifications, current pharmacologic options being investigated, use complementary alternative therapies also explored. Currently, buproprion primary agent has shown positive results treating HSDD. The testosterone therapy not addressed this article, described greater detail elsewhere.
