摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the functional properties of receptors located in subcutaneous veins and cutaneous vessels rabbits cats. Functionally, these closely resemble specific cold skin. They display static activity, reaching a maximal firing rate temperature zone 20–30°C, dynamic activity response to sudden cooling. Evidence is presented that vascular component takes part reactions touch-cold The single neurones hypothalamic medial preoptic area registered during stimuli applied skin humorally isolated rabbits. investigated showed increased cooling vein. mechano-cold formation well-localized discrete thermal sensations, whereas peripheral reception associated with thermoregulatory reactions, more generalized sensation comfort or discomfort.
