摘要: This study investigated the relation between interest in four different subject areas (mathematics, biology, English, history) and quality of experience class. The strength as a predictor was contrasted with that achievement motivation scholastic ability. A total 208 highly able freshmen sophomores completed ratings, an questionnaire, Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT). These assessments were followed by one week sampling. In addition, grades available for involved. results showed significant potency, intrinsic motivation, self-esteem, perception skill. Controlling ability did not decrease these relations. Achievement proved to be considerably weaker predictors than interest. contributed significantly prediction mathematics, history, but English. main some limitations are discussed, suggestions future research made.
