摘要: Abstract Polycarboxyl type antiscalants in general have a tendency to become less effective the presence of multi-valent metal ions such as Ca++ and Mg++ sea water. However, Kao's new antiscalant “AQUAKREEN KC-550” improved by copolymerization technology, has much higher stability against multi-valance ions. AQUAKREEN KC-550 was tested Dubai Electricity Company unit No.3 desalination plant at Jebel Ali “D” station under dosing rate 2 ppm brine top temperature 105°C for period 5 months, with caution steps taken set optimum beforehand.
