摘要: Gait retraining programs are prescribed to assist in the rehabilitation process of many clinical conditions. Using lateral trunk lean modification as model, aim this study was assess concurrent validity kinematic data recorded using a marker-based 3D motion analysis (3DMA) system and low-cost alternative, Microsoft Kinect™ (Kinect), during gait session. Twenty healthy adults were trained modify their obtain angle 10°. Real-time biofeedback provided on computer screen front subject extracted from Kinect skeletal tracking algorithm. Marker coordinate concurrently 3DMA system, similarity equivalency each compared. The obtained without any form calibration resulted errors high (>2°) magnitude (mean error = 3.2 ± 2.2°). Performing global individualized significantly (P < 0.001) improved 1.7 1.5° 0.8 0.8° respectively. With addition simple anatomical position coordinates can be used create real-time for retraining. Given that is low-cost, portable does not require sensors attached body, it could provide numerous advantages when compared laboratory-based systems.
