摘要: The analysis of exhaled breath is a potentially useful method for application in veterinary diagnostics. Breath samples can be easily collected from animals by means face mask or collection chamber with minimal disturbance to the animal. After administration 13C-labelled compound recovery 13C used investigate gastrointestinal and digestive functions. Exhaled hydrogen assess orocaecal transit time malabsorption, nitric oxide, carbon monoxide pentane oxidative stress inflammation. compounds dissolved aqueous phase (the condensate) airway This review summarises current status medicine, analyses its potential assessing animal health disease.
