摘要: A human thymus cell hybridoma secretes an immunosuppressive lymphokine, referred to as suppressor factor (HSF). This suppresses polyclonal immunoglobulin (Ig) production well Interleukin-2 (IL-2) in pokeweed mitogen (PWM)-stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). Similar suppression of Ig and IL-2 was observed reconstituted cultures CD4+ non-T cells. Here we analysed, further, the mechanism HSF-mediated production. We demonstrated that HSF inhibited PWM-induced by but not CD8+ its suppressive activity on totally abrogated preabsorption with cells, These results indicate a subset specific action HSF.
