摘要: This study proposes a new approach to the responsible development of innovative products, processes and services by companies organisations operating in bioeconomy related industry sectors. It departs from much recent currently available research on innovation that it recognises very different challenges faced innovating organisations, compared conventional approaches with strong emphasis upstream engagement. attempts move away politicised perspectives have dominated many engagement initiatives disruptive innovations like synthetic/engineering biology, focus practical downstream outcomes, extent which they will fulfil aspirations ordinary citizens, comply prevailing norms behaviour. The proposed consolidated framework builds developed 2012 then Technology Strategy Board, implemented using anticipate, reflect, engage act devised UK councils. distinguishes between routine, company-specific aspects responsibility, expected be addressed within an organisation's standard procedures, project-specific requiring regular appraisal throughout innovation. is designed simple feasible for company implement commercial environment.
