摘要: A rare case of aberrant insulinoma in the duodenum is described. Hyperinsulinemia with typical hypoglycemic symptoms was induced by prolonged fasting. Selective angiography demonstrated a tumor supplied from first branch jejunal artery, and duodenoscopy revealed submucosal at third portion duodenum. An increase venous plasma immunoreactive insulin concentration evident vein draining tumor, sampling through percutaneous transhepatic catheterization. Hypoglycemia ameliorated after removal Histologic immunocytochemical characterization showed an insulinoma, predominantly composed cells B-cell-like granules. The acid extract contained 1.2 U/g insulin, this analyzed reverse-phase high-pressure liquid chromatography, that it had same amino structure as human insulin.
