摘要: Because it has been reported that hypoxia in rats may promote lipid peroxidation and other free radical reactions could modify membrane lipids proteins, the effect of acute hypobaric on human erythrocyte membranes was investigated. 12-(1-Pyrene)dodecanoic acid fluorescent probe used to assess short-range lateral diffusion status bilayer. Membrane protein modification detected by SDS-PAGE. Healthy young men were exposed for 20 min hypoxia, simulating an altitude 4,500 m. Under this condition, reached a state higher diffusivity with respect normobaric conditions band 3 modified, becoming more susceptible membrane-bound proteinases. These observations suggest oxidative stress condition membrane.
