摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs) represent a distinctive group of primary mesenchymal the gastrointestinal tract identified immunohistochemically by expression CD117. A 10-year-old neutered female domestic shorthair cat with history recurrent vomiting was examined. The presence gastric mass recognized and laparotomy performed. Cytological examination consistent low-grade malignant tumour histopathological investigation suggested myogenic differentiation cells. diagnosis GIST confirmed immunohistochemical Sequence analysis KIT gene deletion in exon 11. same mutation is found often human GISTs.
