摘要: Wheat root characters which influence vital plant processes have scarcely been explored for their genetic control. This study was conducted to i) examine the diversity of traits and associated shoot in spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars; ii) nature control selected traits; iii) associations among traits. Three experiments were greenhouse with plants grown vermiculite medium clear plastic tubes. In first experiment, 42 cultivars three weeks measurements taken on length, leaf number, dry weight, top weight. second study, 15F1's originating from a partial diallel mating six along parents evaluated 4 weeks. The data number subjected analysis according Griffing's method 4, fixed model. A third experiment consisted studying 2 F2 populations 141 per population. exhibited wide range variation all Diallel revealed significant effects both general combining ability (GCA) specific (SCA) number. Parents high GCA estimates identified. Significant positive correlation coefficients found Analysis F2's length indicated quantitative inheritance length.
