摘要: Abstract Early vigour is important for improving wheat water use efficiency, competitiveness with weeds, and ultimately productivity, but it significantly affected by soil fertility. In the past rapid reliable capture of early in field-grown crops has proven problematic; could recent technological developments provide a satisfactory solution? This study uses modern quantitative image analyses to reveal effects genotype phosphate fertilisation on expression vigour. A large genetic variation was identified among twenty genotypes from ICARDA, Australia CIMMYT. increased through fertiliser application. Berkut, Correll, Axe Hamam-4 showed almost no reduction vegetative cover under low P. Whereas Yitpi, Excalibur, Seri Babaga-3 P Also Berkut Excalibur were phosphate-efficient high The significant responsive here using digital charting enhances prospects (and efficiency) wheat; additionally, facilitates further trait loci studies responsiveness) wheat, their accelerated implementation breeding programs.
