Upgrading and multistage separation of rice straw by degradative solvent extraction

摘要: Abstract Upgrading and multi-stage separation (UMSS) of rice straw was conducted at different temperatures using 1-methylnaphthalene (1-MN) as solvent. Three main solid products were obtained: low molecular weight extract (soluble), high (deposit) extraction residue (residue). The elemental composition, chemical structure physicochemical characteristic each component analyzed in detail. Alkali alkaline earth metal (AAEM) contents also measured by ICP-MS. results showed the yield soluble increased with temperature, carbon-based reached 33.48% 350°C. carbon content oxygen three (soluble, deposit, residue) decreased respectively. deposit up to 82.36% 80.59% Meanwhile them 9.50% 12.03% More than 86.99% removed H 2 O CO . Soluble almost free from ash, ash less 1.50%. higher heating values (HHV) significantly that straw. FT-IR indicated not only dehydration reaction decarboxylation occurred, but including obvious aromatization reaction. Na, Mg K extremely low, they temperature gradually. In conclusion, degradative solvent method realized dehydration, deoxygenation multistage biomass under mild condition, obtained a variety well HHV.
